A mixture of the F5 stick and regular monkey bar grip, this piece of kit challenges you to hold on with both hands for more than a few minutes.

When athletes approach a regular monkey bar, the natural motion is to keep arms in the normal raised position, without a close grip. The closer the grip, the more work is done to the inner lats, lower traps, and pectorals. These muscles are often neglected, but are essential to tackling rigs and various other obstacles, or Cross-Fit challenges.

If you think you can hold on, and are looking for an extra challenge, we highly recommend you try adding the ‘T-bar’ to your pull-up routine.
